SAUGATUCK, MI (WHTC) - The Saugatuck City Council tonight is expected to throw its support for neighboring Fennville to develop a stop on the Pere Marquette passenger train line between Grand Rapids and Chicago. The daily service already stops in Holland, and supporters say that the new depot would help bring tourists to the Saugatuck-Fennville-Allegan corridor. Fennville officials are expected to petition Amtrak for the change by the end of the month.
