PARK TOWNSHIP (WHTC) - Park Township fire officials are investigating the cause of a fire that occurred late Wednesday morning in the Silver Ridge subdivision. Firefighters were called to the home in the 14-hundred block of Sandy Run just before 11 a.m. No one was home at the time of the fire, although firefighters were able to rescue two dogs and two cats from the residence. Authorities say the blaze may have started with a gas fireplace. No dollar estimate on damage was available.
