WASHINGTON (WHTC) - Even though it has been operating a casino in Bradley for nearly a year, the Gun Lake Band of Pottawatomi Indians was still eligible for over 178 thousand dollars in an Indian Housing Block Grant from the HUD. Based on a formula to eligible tribes for a range of affordable housing activities, three Native American groups in Michigan will be sharing more than a million dollars from the program by the federal agency.
