ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC) - A one-time Holland Public Schools staffer returns to Allegan District Court today.

A scheduled preliminary hearing this morning will determine if there is enough evidence to bind Jonathan Meyer over for trial. The 32-year-old Holland man was charged last month after the state Attorney General’s office asked for and received warrants on three counts of criminal sexual conduct, each of which could bring life in prison upon conviction.

According to authorities, Meyer, who was a part-time lunch supervisor at West Middle School and had also been involved with a faith-based mentoring organization, allegedly molested the unnamed teens in the Macatawa area of Park Township and in northwest LaketownTownship during the summer of 2006. District officials say that none of the incidents had occurred on school property or during school-sponsored functions.

Meyer has been jailed on 50 thousand dollars bond since his arrest.
