LANSING (WKZO) -- Now that Indiana has become the first right to work state in the Midwest, discussions about whether or not Michigan will follow suit are heating up. Governor Snyder has said he does not want to take the state in that direction, but some lawmakers believe if it's not done, Michigan will lose too many jobs to Indiana.
State Senator John Proos is pushing for right to work zones in the state to test whether or not the idea will work here. His legislation has already been introduced in the Senate, and advocates of making the entire state right to work plan to have bills ready soon.
