LANSING (WKZO) -- Auto thefts in Michigan fell by nine-point-35 percent from 2009 to 2010.
The numbers for 2010 have been released by the Michigan Automobile Theft Prevention Authority, with the 2000 Dodge Ram pickup the most stolen vehicle in the state. The most popular day of the week in 2010 to steal a car was Tuesday.
Officials say since they came into being in 1986, auto thefts in Michigan are down by 62-percent.
