DETROIT (WKZO) -- Chrysler and Ford are posting strong sales numbers as the year begins.
Chrysler beat analyst expectations with a 44-percent uptick in U.S. sales for January. Experts thought Chrysler would notch a 35-percent increase. Ford is reporting January sales numbers that show a seven-percent gain, driven by a 60-percent hike in sales of its small Focus model.
