ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC) - Allegan-based generic drug maker Perrigo is ending 2012 with a proverbial bang by buying Cobrek Pharmaceuticals for 45 million dollars. For four years, Perrigo had owned more than 18 percent of the firm that makes prescription foam-based products such as the generic versions of Luxiq and Olux-E. Company officials say that this purchase will give Perrigo “full economics” capture and control future growth of topical products.
