HOLLAND (WHTC) - A Park Township teenager accused of stabbing his roommate earlier this month at their apartment faces a preliminary hearing Thursday afternoon in 58^th District Court. Seventeen-year-old Eric Ortega is charged with attempted murder in the Dec. 14 attack on a 32-year-old man. Ottawa County authorities say the victim was stabbed several times in the neck during an argument and critically injured. He was taken to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital. Ortega is being held on 750-thousand dollars bond. The hearing is scheduled to take place before District Judge Brad Knoll.
