HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Holland Public Safety officials honored their own during the department’s annual Christmas Party on Tuesday night. Sergeant Keith Mulder was named the top cop for 2012, based on character, competence, and a commitment to departmental training, as he’s the chair of the West Michigan Criminal Justice Training Consortium. Heidi Canfield became Holland’s first full-time female firefighter six years ago, and she earned 2012 Firefighter of the Year accolades for her work, which included various community volunteer roles.
