HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Holland Municipal Stadium may no longer be a municipal facility by New Year’s Day. City Council members last night approved final arrangements to close on the nearly one million-dollar sale of the site to Hope College, with paperwork to be signed by next Friday. The deal will allow the city and Holland Public Schools to use the facility rent-free, with both Hope and Holland High continuing to play home football games there. College officials are expected to rename the stadium, probably for a prominent donor.
