DETROIT (WKZO) -- A Michigan group will march in the 57th Inaugural Parade in Washington, D.C. next month.
The Military Spouses of Michigan are among the organizations nation-wide to be invited to participate in the parade. More than 2,800 applications for participation were submitted. That's more than twice the number of requests wanting to march in President Obama's first inaugural parade.
Military Spouses of Michigan was formed a year ago in an attempt to bring support to military spouses scattered across the state.
