DETROIT (WKZO) -- In an attempt to clear out the showrooms before ringing in the new year, automakers are offering sizeable incentives.
Chrysler Group's incentives are up by about 300-dollars per vehicle. According to a Chrysler spokesman, though, that's not unusual for this time of year.
Ford is offering nearly five-thousand dollars off of some of its 2013 Taurus models. One Royal Oak Chevy dealer has a sign that reads, "Rebates up to eight-thousand dollars."
Additionally, automakers find themselves with large inventories of trucks and are anxious to move them out with a little help from those incentives.
