PARK TWP., MI (WHTC) - A Park Township homeowner was pistol-whipped as his residence was ransacked during the overnight hours. According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Detective Lieutenant Mark Bennett, the unnamed man was roused awake when the three suspects – a light-skinned black man in his 20’s, a white man about 6-1, 160, and a heavy-set woman in her 20’s with long sandy-brown hair – stormed into the house in the 1700 block of Perry Street, west of 160th Avenue. While one of the three suspects struck the man several times with the gun without firing it at him, the other two tossed the home, taking an undisclosed amount of cash. The victim was treated for minor injuries at Holland Hospital, while the suspects fled in a late 90’s Chevrolet Cavalier. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Department or Silent Observer (877-88-SILENT, http://mosotips.com).
