NEW BUFFALO TOWNSHIP (WKZO) -- It will take an autopsy this coming week to confirm the identities of two bodies found in a burning car in New Buffalo Township early Saturday Morning. '

Berrien County Deputies say it appear the two people were in a Volkswagen Passat that they say must have been speeding down Marquette Drive, blew through a stop sign where the street ends at Lakeshore Drive, slammed into a tree and burst into flames.

Police have a pretty good idea who they are, but will need a pathologist to verify their identities.
