HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Gas prices have plummeted along the Lakeshore, as this morning’s survey of Holland area stations showed a per-gallon average of $3.25. Rates ranged from $3.20 to $3.31. This is a 24-cent drop from last Friday, and is the lowest mean in this poll since February 17th, when motorists were paying $3.23 on average for fuel. It’s also a parallel to last year at this time, when the $3.17 mark was the cheapest since February then. Triple-A’s daily canvassing had marks of $3.29 nationally and $3.33 statewide, reductions of eight cents and 16 cents, respectively, from last week.
