WAYLAND, MI (WHTC) - Food pantries in Holland, Douglas, Allegan, Dorr and Hopkins were among 11 in the region receiving 15 hundred dollars each in a “surprise” donation by the Gun Lake Casino. Officials of the gaming house in Bradley held a luncheon yesterday to “honor and recognize the tireless efforts of staff and volunteers who assist the hungry during this holiday season.” The funds came from the casino’s Charitable Giving program.
