WASHINGTON (WKZO) -- Echoing earlier remarks from President Obama, White House spokesman Jay Carney is condemning Michigan's right-to-work efforts.
In his daily briefing, Carney said so-called right-to-work laws are about the "right to work for less pay." Governor Rick Snyder has signed legislation that prohibits labor unions from requiring workers to become members and pay dues.
Huge pro-labor crowds chanted their opposition on the steps of the state Capitol in Lansing Tuesday.
