GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) - An 18-by-18 inch safe apparently taken from one of six businesses along Lake Michigan Drive between Allendale and the Kent County line was found at an intersection in Grand Rapids yesterday. The burglaries occurred over a four-hour span during the overnight hours on Monday, and investigators believe that the perpetrators may have also been behind three other break-ins in Jenison 10 days ago.
