CHICAGO (WHTC) - Members of the Presbytery Coordinating Commission have called a special meeting of the Presbytery Assembly of Chicago this afternoon to approve the sale of the Presbyterian Camps in Saugatuck to developer David Barker for 10 million dollars. He wants to build a limited number of large home sites on the site off of Perryman Street. The congregation needs the money to pay off debt, and efforts to keep the camp intact failed.
