LANSING, MI (WHTC) - The Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs approved nearly 5.7 million dollars in grants to 312 non-profit programs and institutions statewide for 2013. Along the Lakeshore: Three grants totaling nearly 31 thousand dollars for the Holland Area Arts Council; 75 hundred for the Saugatuck Center for the Arts; six grand for both the Holland Symphony Orchestra and the Waterfront Festival; and 45 hundred for the Holland Chorale.
