ALLEGAN (WKZO) -- They may start calling this officer “Sherlock” after this bust. He made contact with a man riding a mountain bike at the Intersection of Cherry and Spruce in Allegan and noticed that the bike rider’s shoes roughly matched impressions they had taken at crime scenes.

Moments later a radio call came in, reporting that there had just been a car burglary in the area. Now they suspect he may have been involved in as many as 80 burglaries,iin the last 3 weeks. .

So far, 21-year-old Ken Snippe of Allegan has been charged with one count of larceny from an Automobile..
