HUDSONVILLE, MI (WHTC) - A two-vehicle crash in Hudsonville around the Noon Hour yesterday involved a school bus with students on board. Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Mike Bagladi and fellow deputies responded to the incident. A small utility truck, heading southbound on 32nd Avenue, apparently went through a red light at New Holland Street and smashed into the eastbound bus.
The bus driver, 53-year-old Grace Snikkers, along with three unnamed students on board, was not hurt. The truck driver, 21-year-old Dillon Scott Thomson of Kalamazoo, was taken to Metro Health in Wyoming, where he was treated for minor head and neck injuries and released. The incident remains under investigation.
