HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - A home in a Park Township neighborhood that had its power shut off for six hours yesterday suffered around 40 thousand dollars in damage following a fire. Crews from three departments put out the flames at the residence in the 24 hundred block of Interlake Walk, in the Macatawa Park subdivision. Nobody was inside of the structure when the blaze broke out, and no firefighters were hurt. Utility crews were working in the area installing power lines for the Point West development as the fire broke out after electricity was restored, but it wasn't immediately determined if the outage had any bearing on this fire.
