HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - About 231 South Shore area households in an area bounded by the channel between Lake Macatawa and Lake Michigan, Grand Avenue and Maksaba Trail will have their electricity shut off for up to six hours today. Consumers Energy crews will be working from 9 AM to 3 PM on hooking up service to a new subdivision, along with burying power lines underground. The affected customers were notified of this shutdown in advance by mail last month. Should weather conditions prevent today’s work from being completed, crews will be back at the scene tomorrow.
