High School Boys' Basketball Begins Tonight Along Lakeshore; Washington Wins in MNF


UNDATED (WHTC) - The high school boys’ basketball season along the Lakeshore begins this evening. Other match ups include Holland at Godwin Heights, Holland Christian at Grand Haven, Muskegon at West Ottawa, Zeeland West at West Catholic, Hamilton at Allegan, NorthPointe Christian at Fennville, and Bangor at Black River.

In high school girls’ play last night, Zeeland West defeated Jenison, 49-48. This evening games include West Ottawa at Muskegon, Grand Haven at Holland Christian, Allegan at Hamilton, Saugatuck at Martin, and Fennville at Bloomingdale.


In a NFL game you heard on 1450 WHTC last night, Washington beat the New York Giants, 17-16. Coming up on Holland’s Hometown Station: Denver visits Oakland on Thursday evening at 8 PM; the Lions travel to Green Bay on Sunday at 7:20 PM; and New England hosts Houston next Monday night at 8 PM.


Brandon Knight tossed in 17 points as the Pistons downed visiting Cleveland last night, 89-79. Detroit is home to Golden State tomorrow evening.

In state major college basketball last night, Eastern Michigan fell at Syracuse, 84-48. This evening, Michigan entertains Western Michigan.
