LANSING (WKZO) -- Supporters of legislation banning teen drivers and those with graduated licenses from using a cell phone while driving in Michigan will hold a press conference Monday afternoon at the state Capitol.
The state Senate has passed what would be known as "Kelsey's Law," after a Sault Ste. Marie teen killed while using her phone while driving in 2010. If the House doesn't act on the bill by the end of the month, it will have to be reintroduced again in the next legislative session starting in January.
