SOUTH HAVEN, MI (WHTC) - Charges are pending against five 17-year-olds who allegedly admitted to shooting up windows of two businesses and at least a dozen parked vehicles in and around South Haven. The four boys and one girl were picked up at separate locations in South Haven, Bangor and Covert after the 90-minute spree late on Friday night. A witness that was able to get a vehicle description and license plate number provided the key break in the case for investigators, and five carbon dioxide-powered pellet guns, along with ammunition, that may have been involved in the attacks were seized. Over 12 thousand dollars of damage was estimated.
