HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - The Greater Ottawa County United Way’s annual fundraising campaign has gone past the 40 percent mark. Over 950 thousand dollars has been pledged or garnered since the drive started in mid-September. Agency officials say that 32 of 45 workplace campaigns completed thus far have shown contribution increases over last year of 2.3 percent, admitting that this rate is below the five percent they say is needed to reach the overall 2.3 million-dollar goal by the end of the overall effort in late March.
