LANSING, MI (WHTC) - A Grand Valley State University clinical instructor has been named to the Michigan Board of Nursing. Elaine Leigh of Grand Haven will complete the final year of a four-year term on the 23-member panel that establishes qualifications for licensing nurses, approves standards for nurse education programs, and handles disciplinary matters involving licensed nurses. Leigh works in the Hepatitis C treatment clinic at Mercy Health in Muskegon, as well as in the gastroenterology department at Spectrum Health.
