GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO) -- Meijer Stores is recalling 68-thousand bicycles that reportedly have faulty pedals. The recall affects various models from seven bike brands sold between March and August 2012.
The CPSC says there have been 29 reports of pedals coming loose or detaching altogether during use, making a fall more likely. Affected brands are Huffy, Iron Horse, Mongoose, Northwoods, Pacific, Razor and Schwinn.
The items were sold at a variety of Meijer stores in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky.
