GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) - A former West Ottawa High teacher has filed a federal lawsuit against the district, claiming that her dismissal two years ago violated employment discrimination and American with Disabilities Act laws. Susan Brennan was an instructor for a decade before she was sacked for what district officials said was her past as a part-time exotic dancer, along with other academic-related violations. She had filed a similar civil lawsuit in Ottawa County Circuit Court last year, but it was dismissed. District officials are not commenting on this litigation
