UNDATED (WHTC) - Anibal Sanchez scattered five hits and struck out six over nearly seven inning of work, pitching the Tigers past visiting Toronto last night, 3-2. Detroit goes for the series sweep of the Blue Jays at Comerica Park this afternoon. Coverage on 1450 WHTC begins at 12:40 PM.

Ryan Braun homered and drove in two runs yesterday, powering Milwaukee to a series-sweeping 3-2 victory over the visiting Cubs yesterday. Off today, Chicago hosts Colorado tomorrow afternoon to begin a three-game series at Wrigley Field.

Alex Rios’ homer in the sixth inning last night snapped a 1-1 tie, enabling the White Sox to complete a series sweep of the visiting New York Yankees, 2-1. Off this evening, Chicago welcomes Seattle tomorrow night to open up a three-game series at US Cellular Field.

Zach Maggard’s three-run homer in the sixth inning was all the Whitecaps needed to defeat visiting Fort Wayne last night, 3-2. The series at Fifth Third Ballpark continues this evening.
