HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - The Holland City Council deals with sidewalk repairs and street resurfacing for 2013 in a special business meeting this evening, along with bidding out the tulip bulb planting this fall for next spring, and acquiring radio communication equipment for the city’s Public Safety Services Department. The regularly-scheduled work study session will go into a committee report on repairs needed to the DeZwaan Windmill, with about 846 thousand dollars needed to restore the structure and its amenities. Council will also discuss the city’s begging ordinance and changing the fireworks code, among other matters.
