GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO) -- Two post-secondary institutions in West Michigan have made the "America's Greenest Colleges" list.  The Sierra Club compiles the list annually, and it is a ranking of how "green" the universities are.

Grand Valley State University placed 16th, while Aquinas College was named the 41st greenest school. The schools were rated on a list of  eleven criteria. The University of California-Davis was named the first-place school.
