ROMULUS (WKZO) -- Friends and family gathered in Romulus Thursday evening to remember those lost in one of the worst air disasters in U.S. history. A vigil was held to mark the 25th anniversary of the crash of Northwest Airlines Flight 255. The plane crashed into Middlebelt Road shortly after leaving Detroit Metro Airport in 1987, killing 155 passengers. The lone survivor was a four-year-old girl.
