Sox Win while Caps Lose on Thursday; Detroit Faces Baltimore on Two Fronts Tonight

UNDATED (WHTC) - Idle last night, both the Tigers and Cubs return to action this evening. Detroit hosts Baltimore to open a three-game series at Comerica Park. Coverage on 1450 WHTC begins at 6:40 PM. Chicago travels to Cincinnati to start a three-game series at The Great American Ballpark.

Alex Rios slugged a three-run homer as the White Sox won at Toronto last night, 7-2. Chicago is in Kansas City to begin a three-game series at Kauffman Stadium this evening.


Eric Groff’s single in the 10th inning plated the winning run, as South Bend edged the visiting Whitecaps last night, 5-4. The rubber game of the series at Coveleski Stadium is this evening.
