LANSING (WKZO) -- Michigan State Police have released an investigation report into the Roy Schmidt/Jase Bolger election rigging scandal and buried in the hundreds of pages may be the true motive for the bizarre political gaffe.  It wasn't winning or losing, it was apparently all about money.  Schmidt apparently felt compelled to hire Matt Mojzak to run as a Democrat so he could do fundraising.  It was revealed that Schmidt feared if he was running unopposed, then he couldn't very well justify raising funds.
