GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) - Officials of the group Macatawa Area Residents for Fair Development are weighing their options after Ottawa County Circuit Court Judge Jon Van Allsburg ruled yesterday that the Park Township Board complied with zoning laws and had “competent and substantial evidence” to support its decision to allow the proposed Point West One development to move forward. The group, made up of residents living near the planned project, argued that the 40-unit, 80-slip development on land between Lake Macatawa and Lake Michigan violated the township’s zoning regulations. A decision on whether to appeal Van Allsburg’s ruling is pending.
