HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - The transfer of Holland Municipal Stadium from city ownership to Hope College ownership should be finalized tonight, when Council members are expected to approve a 952 thousand-dollar purchase agreement with the school. City officials say that it has become too expensive to maintain and improve upon the 33-year-old facility, and a deal that would allow the city and Holland High to use the stadium for events is part of the purchase agreement. A separate agreement with Hope involving operations and maintenance of the facility for this fall is also expected to be approved by Council tonight.
