HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - The search for a new president continues at Hope College. Officials posted on the school’s website that a committee has retained a professional head-hunting consultant to identify prospective candidates. Dr. Jim Bultman, who had planned to retire in June, was asked to stay on an additional year as president, as the school “won’t rush” to find his replacement. There were reports that Hope’s first choice for its new leader, Dr. Michael Le Roy, rebuffed the Flying Dutchmen in favor of arch-rival Calvin College, forcing the Holland school to continue its search into this academic year.
