UNDATED (WHTC) - Curtis Granderson slugged a homer and drove in four runs, as the visiting Yankees outscored the Tigers last night, 12-8. The finale of the four-game series in Detroit is this afternoon. Coverage from Comerica Park on 1450 WHTC begins at 12:40 PM.

Clayton Richard spun a five-hit shutout, as San Diego blanked the visiting Cubs yesterday, 2-0. Chicago is home to open a four-game series versus Cincinnati at Wrigley Field this evening.

Jeremy Guthrie scattered five hits over eight scoreless innings, as he pitched visiting Kansas City past the White Sox last night, 2-1. Chicago stays home to start a three-game series against Oakland at US Cellular Field tomorrow evening.
