HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Members of the Holland City Council will meet with the board of directors of the Holland Board of Public Works in a special joint work-study session at the Haworth Inn in downtown Holland this evening. They will be going over the utility’s “Power for the 21st Century” sustainable return on investment results presentation, looking at options for the Tulip City’s future electricity needs. The city and the BPW are defendants in a federal lawsuit by the Sierra Club over alleged Clean Air Act violations in expanding the DeYoung Power Plant.
