GRAND HAVEN (WHTC) - A 25-year-old Grand Rapids man will be sentenced next month for a stabbing at a Holland Township restaurant. Emmanuel Cornejo pleaded guilty Monday in Ottawa County Circuit Court to charges of assault with intent to do great bodily harm and resisting and obstructing a police officer in connection with the February 14 incident at the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant on West Shore Drive. A 27-year-old man suffered a stab wound to the chest in the incident, but later recovered. The attack occurred just three weeks after Cornejo had been paroled after serving time in another assault, this one in Grand Rapids.
