UNDATED (WHTC) - Controversial issues are the subject of meetings today involving the Park West Drain project in Park Township and the Singapore Dunes development in Saugatuck Township. Ottawa County Drain Commission staff meets with state DEQ officials, seeking approval of a six million-dollar drainage plan that would alleviate flooding issues that cropped up from 2008 through 2010. The Saugatuck Township Board may consider suing its former insurance carrier for dropping legal liability insurance in the wake of Singapore Dunes’ lawsuit over tax and zoning issues that was resolved out of court earlier this year.
