PARK TWP., MI (WHTC) - Officials of the state Department of Environmental Quality will be at West Ottawa High School for a 7 PM public hearing on the proposed Park West Drain project. The six million-dollar plan would deal with flooding issues that came to light during storms on consecutive Junes in 2008 and 2009. Opponents are likely to offer this evening another proposal that they claim would be cheaper and more eco-friendly.
