BATTLE CREEK (WKZO) --- It may be the way they keep statistics, or it could actually be that they are abnormally risky places but three cities in Michigan have made a 'Forbe’s Magazine' list of the Nation’s Most Dangerous Places for women.
Number one on the list was Saginaw, Michigan. Flint appears in the 6th slot and Battle Creek, the home of Sojourner Truth and Tony the Tiger slipped into the 9th worst spot in the nation. Forbes based its ranking on the number of violent crimes, like rape, robbery, murder and assault inflicted on females, as reported to the FBI’s Uniform Crime Report.
Anchorage and Fairbanks,Alaska were #2 and #3.
