WASHINGTON (WHTC) - The US Supreme Court hears arguments today about reinstating a lawsuit challenging the placing of the former AmPro factory site on 129^th Avenue near Bradley in trust for the Gun Lake Tribe. One-time Wayland Township Trustee David Patchak wants to restore the area’s rural character by closing the Gun Lake Casino. All similar gaming houses nationwide could be shut down if the High Court reverses lower court rulings that dismissed the litigation and Patchak goes on to win his case. A ruling is expected by June.
