GRANDVILLE, MI (WHTC) - As his final year in the state House continues, Dave Agema is looking back and looking ahead.
The provocative third-term Republican from Grandville continues to express concerns about history repeating itself, especially when it comes to how this state and this country are governed. In his monthly appearance on WHTC's "Talk of the Town" program in Holland yesterday, Agema said that he is grateful for the support he’s received from his constituents during his five-plus years inLansing.
Although Agema had considered last fall going after first-term Congressman Bill Huizenga this August before deciding against it, Lansing-based political observer MIRS is reporting that the retired Air Force and commercial pilot will instead challenge Saul Anuzis for a spot on the GOP National Committee when state Republicans meet in Detroit on May 19th.
