HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Local March of Dimes officials say that over 110-thousand dollars was raised on Saturday during the first March for Babies Walk in the state for 2012, which was held in Holland’s Centennial Park. About 300 residents were on hand for the record-breaking fund-raising effort, which is triple what last year’s event generated. Much of the cash raised was through an ongoing raffle for a one-of-a-kind custom motorcycle, a raffle that will end in November. Funds will go towards grants and programs for prenatal and baby health at local facilities.
